Getting to the Start
All participants are advised NOT to attempt to park in the Jumeirah Beach Road, Al Sufouh Area, Madinat Jumeirah or Police Academy area. There will be extensive road closures in place in these areas. If you do drive to the immediate areas near the start and finish listed above you do so at your own risk as this will create extensive traffic congestion and delays in getting to the start.
If you are travelling by car plan your trip. Avoid parking in the immediate areas to the start and finish. There are many accessible areas to park along the Al Wasl Road junctions away from the start and finish. Parking would be possible in the Mall of the Emirates/Al Barsha area with access made by crossing from the Dubai Metro Bridge at Mall of the Emirates taking you to the back of the starts walking past the Dubai Police Academy.
Select an area that is familiar to you and give yourself plenty of time to walk the remaining distance to the back of the start area from the Al Wasl Road direction and Mall of the Emirates/Al Barsha area.
There will be a taxi drop-off point before the race and a collection point after the race on the Al Wasl Road. If possible book your taxi in advance to avoid delays and when booking plan to arrive at least 90 minutes before the start. Extra taxis will be available throughout the morning and afternoon.
Please come early to avoid any rush or delays.
